[FWO] Nieuwe oproep voor gezamenlijke onderzoeksprojecten met Zuid-Afrika (NRF) | Call for joint research projects with South Africa (NRF)

Het FWO kondigt de opening aan van een nieuwe oproep voor gezamenlijke onderzoeksprojecten met Zuid-Afrika (NRF).

Het betreft driejarige projecten fundamenteel onderzoek met aan Vlaamse zijde de mogelijkheid tot financiering van personeel, werking en uitrusting. Aanvragen moeten zowel worden ingediend bij FWO (deadline 26 mei 2026 - 17u lokale tijd) door een onderzoeksgroep uit Vlaanderen als door hun Zuid-Afrikaanse partner bij NRF (deadline 26 mei 2026 - 17u lokale tijd).

De projecten zullen starten op 1 januari 2027. Voor meer informatie, inclusief de richtlijnen voor aanvragers, kan u terecht op deze website.

Gelieve het budgetvoorstel minstens 1 werkweek voor indiening ter controle voor te leggen aan vlaams-federaal@ugent.be

The Research Foundation – Flanders (FWO) is happy to announce the launch of a new call for joint research projects fundamental research with South Africa (NRF).

 Projects have a duration of 3 years and the Flemish part of the project can request funding for staff, consumables, and equipment. Project proposals have to be submitted both at FWO (deadline 26th of May 2026 – 5pm local time) by a research group from Flanders and at NRF (deadline 26th of May 2026 – 5pm local time) by their South African partner.

Please send the budget proposal for a check to vlaams-federaal@ugent.be at least 1 week before submission.
