Content of the webinar
In this webinar, Josefina Enfedaque and Alban Kellerbauer from the ERC Executive Agency will guide prospective applicants through the 2027 ERC funding opportunities and explain the main changes they should be aware of.
Timing: Thursday 10 September 2026, form 15:00 to 15:30.
The webinar will cover:
- ERC funding opportunities under the 2027 Work Programme
- Grant budgets and the application calendar
- Broader eligibility windows for Starting and Consolidator Grants
- Changes to proposal submission rules
- Key points to consider when preparing for the 2027 calls
The session will be moderated by Martin Penny, Head of Communications at the ERC Executive Agency, and includes a live Q&A with participants.

ERC Calls 2027
The first competition under the new Work Programme, the ERC Starting Grant 2027 call, opened on 22 July 2026.
It will be followed by the Consolidator Grant, Synergy Grant, Advanced Grant and ERC Plus Grant competitions.
