 Conditions:

·        Prospective clinical study  with a focus on The diagnosis or treatment of the cancer itself and the prevention and management of adverse effects of cancer and/or its treatment: supportive treatment.  

·        Interventions in which AI is used to support the applications mentioned above are also eligible. 

• The coordination and/or participation of Belgian research institutions in national/international prospective clinical cancer research
• Studies that always put the patient / former patient at the centre and focus on active patient participation

 

Deadline and budget:

• Deadline for submission of abstract: 21 January 2027 11:59 midnight
• Deadline for submission of a detailed project proposal: 1 July 2027 11:59 midnight
• Announcement of results: December 2027
• Budget: 6,5 million euros (subject to budget approval for 2027) of which €5 million is allocated for clinical studies on diagnosis and treatment of the cancer itself, and €1.5 million for clinical studies on supportive treatments.
