[BELSPO] BELSPO: new call for FLASH projects
A Flash project is a tool to provide a rapid response to urgent, time-limited (3-12 months) research needs expressed by one or more FPSs or their competent Minister(s) in support of political decision-making. The aim is to rapidly mobilise expertise or existing scientific.
For each Flash project, the research is described by the federal departments (and/or strategic policy cells) and summarized in an information package for the research teams. Interested research teams are asked to submit a proposal based on the information package specific to each Flash project.
Flash projects are open to the entire Belgian scientific community (universities, higher education, colleges of higher education, federal scientific institutions, public research centers, non-profit organizations that have the conduct of scientific research in their statutes).
This call addresses the following 4 projects:
- Comparing Innovative Practices Regarding Ethical and Sustainable Approaches within Food Systems – Elaboration of a methodology and socio-economic evaluation criteria
- Fighting energy poverty: Indicators for the evaluation of federal measures
- Tax Shelter: an assessment of resources
- Safety in the transport of ammonia by pipeline

Budget:
a maximum of 10.000€/month for personnel, specific operating costs and indirect costs
