STI-ENID: call for submissions - September, 9-11th, 2026
The University of Antwerp will host the 30th Annual Conference on Science and Technology Indicators (STI-ENID 2026) from 9 to 11 September 2026. Organised by colleagues from different ECOOM groups, this 30th anniversary edition will bring together researchers, leading experts, and policymakers to discuss current developments and future directions in science, technology and innovation indicators.
Strong representation from across ECOOM groups and focus areas would be highly valued. STI-ENID 2026 offers an excellent opportunity to showcase ongoing work, engage with the international STI community, and contribute to discussions on the future of Science, Technology and Innovation measurement.
STI-ENID 2026 invites submissions on responsible research assessment and the development of next-generation indicators for responsible innovation and long-term societal value. Contributions exploring new analytical approaches, including AI-assisted metrics, bibliodiversity, and evolving forms of scholarly communication are also welcome. Beyond the central theme, the conference embraces a wide range of topics in science and technology studies, including academic careers and research culture, collaboration and interdisciplinarity, funding and innovation policy, societal impact of research, and the effects of evaluation and indicators. Diverse methodological approaches are encouraged to foster an inclusive and vibrant dialogue.
Submissions are welcome until 15 March 2026 in the following formats:
- Full papers
- Papers-in-progress
- Posters
