Nieuwe panelleden gezocht
Graag laten wij u weten dat het FWO de jaarlijkse oproep voor nieuwe panelleden voor de expertpanels fundamenteel onderzoek geopend heeft. Wij zoeken experten in alle wetenschappelijke disciplines. Zowel Vlaamse als internationale experten worden uitgenodigd zich kandidaat te stellen. Vrouwen worden expliciet aangemoedigd te reageren op onze oproep. In eerste instantie zoeken wij experten die lid willen worden van het FWO Review College; dit is de groep van kandidaten waaruit in een latere fase effectieve panelleden worden geselecteerd. Experten die vorig jaar reeds bericht kregen dat zij in het FWO Review College opgenomen zijn, dienen NIET opnieuw te kandideren maar blijven lid van deze groep.

Belangrijke informatie:
De oproep sluit in principe op 28 april 2024, maar registratie in het FWO e-loket (link met instructies) kan tot 24 uur duren. Kandideer dus zeker op tijd!
U kan bericht verwachten over het resultaat tegen ten laatste november 2024.
Aanvragen kunnen vannuit het e-loket ingediend worden.
Er zijn strikte regels wat betreft belangenconflicten

Looking for new expert panel members
The Research Foundation – Flanders (FWO) is looking for international experts in different scientific fields to strengthen its expert panels. These panels meet once or twice a year in Brussels to evaluate research proposals submitted by researchers in Flanders. Panel members are top experts in their discipline(s) as well as generalists able to evaluate research proposals in their wider field of study.
Currently the FWO is seeking candidates to populate our Review College. The Review College is made up of highly qualified and experienced researchers who may be called upon to join an expert panel. Membership of the Review College does not commit you to serving in an FWO panel, but enables the FWO to contact you with an invitation to join a panel. The FWO expects to appoint at least 250 new panel members in this call (start date: 1/1/2025). Panel members receive a fee of 650€/meeting day as well as reimbursement of all their travel costs.
The FWO is currently looking for experts in all scientific disciplines.
