Search operators

  • Und is automatically placed between your keywords, you do not have to tick it
  • you can tick yourself between your search windows the Booleaan operators oder and und nicht
  • You cannot do truncation or mask
  • however, it happens that there is an automatical “right truncation” with all the keywords; give for example Verfasser/Hrsg. as keyword burg, you will receive works of Irene von Burg, Hemann Burger, Sylvia Schmitz-Burgard and Burghars Dedner, but not works of Norbert Meckleburg of Käte Hamburger.
  • Capital letters and lowercases are not taken into consideration
  • Diacrtitics and ligatures are not important
  • you can search as well for German umlauts ä, ö ü as for ae, oe, ue
  • you can search as well for ß as for ss
  • “” hold phrases and word groups together

On the left side, you have the opportunity to export your file with the buttons Text of Dublin Core. However, it usually do not give a good result.

For Zotero, you can use the browser plugin, eventually do a selection (if the plugin is used in de result list). The snapshot of the detail page will also be registered in your library.
