Lexis 360 Intelligence

Lexis 360 Intelligence is a LexisNexis database for French legal resources. It contains legal journals, encyclopedias, case law, and laws and regulations (French, European and international). Under 'Encyclopédies' you will find the 'JurisClasseurs', basic works of French law. The 'Codes' contain up-to-date (commented) legislation. The 'Synthèses' provide an introduction to the state of the law in a particular branch of law.

Searches

The search bar at the top allows you to search for specific keywords. Suggestions of content and related keywords will be given automatically. In the list of results you can filter by content type and by date. Each content type then has specific filters that you can use to further refine your results. You can save relevant results by clicking on the folder next to the title, or save your search using the button at the top right.

From the home page, you can also browse the database content to navigate directly to a specific resource.

Tips

  • In Lexis 360 Intelligence, you are personally logged in with your Ghent University account, so you can save search results and searches in your personal library.
  • Using the 'Notifications' button in the upper right corner, you can subscribe to what is relevant to you to stay up to date with the latest content in that area.
