Oproep | Call : 6th International Conference on Literacies and Contemporary Society (24-25 februari 2026, Nicosia, Cyprus)

In het kader van het Cypriotisch Voorzitterschap delen wij graag de oproep tot het indienen van bijdragen voor de 6e Internationale Conferentie “Literacies and Contemporary Society: From Skills to Practices” (24–25 februari 2026, Nicosia, Cyprus).

De conferentie wil een dynamische ruimte bieden aan onderzoekers, leerkrachten en professionals om de complexe realiteit van geletterdheid in hedendaagse samenlevingen te verkennen. De conferentie wordt georganiseerd door het Cyprus Pedagogisch Instituut van het Ministerie van Onderwijs, Sport en Jeugd, in samenwerking met de Universiteit van Cyprus, en maakt deel uit van de officiële activiteiten van het Cypriotisch Voorzitterschap van de Raad van de Europese Unie (eerste helft van 2026). De voertalen van de conferentie zijn Engels en Grieks.

In the context of the Cypriot Presidency, we are pleased to share the call for contributions for the 6th International Conference ‘Literacies and Contemporary Society: From Skills to Practices’ (24–25 February 2026, Nicosia, Cyprus).

The conference aims to provide a dynamic space for researchers, teachers and professionals to explore the complex reality of literacy in contemporary societies. The conference is organised by the Cyprus Pedagogical Institute of the Ministry of Education, Sport and Youth, in collaboration with the University of Cyprus, and is part of the official activities of the Cypriot Presidency of the Council of the European Union (first half of 2026). The working languages of the conference are English and Greek.
