[HORIZON EUROPE] New: Horizon Europe training for coordinators

The EU Team is organizing a series of modular trainings on Horizon Europe, focusing on collaborative projects in Pillar II. This modular approach allows participants to select the module(s) that best fit their needs. The trainings are now open for subscription. The target group is ZAP and experienced researchers, irrespective of their scientific background. All trainings are repeated on a yearly basis.

Training Modules:

  •  Module 1: Training on Horizon Europe Collaborative Projects (Pillar II) - Preparatory Course
                - Dates: 25/2, 13-14:00 or 11/03, 9-10:00
                - Description: This course provides an introduction to Horizon Europe collaborative projects. Info and registration.
                - Online (link will be provided a week before the training)
  • Module 2: Coordinator Training - Basic Course: From Topic to Proposal
                - Date: 25/03, 9-12:00
                - Description: This course covers the basics of coordinating a Horizon Europe project, from selecting a topic to drafting a proposal. Info and registration.
                - Location: Campus UFO - T2, room 1.11 (T2 bis), Sint-Pietersnieuwstraat 41, Ghent
  • Module 3: Advanced Course - Excellence
                - Date: 12/06/2025, 13:00-16:00
                - Description: This training will teach you how to translate a concept into a strong narrative for the Excellence section of a proposal. Each aspect of the template will be discussed, and practical exercises will provide additional insights. Info and registration.

  • Module 4: Advanced Course - Impact
                - Date: 16/06/2025, 13:00-16:00
                - Description: This course includes preparation via short didactic videos that you can watch at your own pace before the training. The in-person session will include plenty of time for questions and discussion, followed by deep-dive exercises. Info and registration.
