The Fund for Mental Health Research, managed by the King Baudouin Foundation, is launching its first Call for Research Projects for 2025–2026.
This initiative supports innovative, practice-oriented research aligned with the 10 key priorities identified through the MIND10 project, a participatory process involving patients, families, caregivers, researchers, and policymakers.
Key Information
- Scope: Projects must address at least one of the 10 research priorities outlined in Bridging Gaps in Mental Health: 10 Research Priorities.
- Eligibility: Open to research teams with demonstrated expertise in mental health research and a strong commitment to stakeholder collaboration throughout the research process.
- Funding: Up to €600,000 per project for initiatives in prevention, detection, treatment, health literacy, recovery, and healthcare organization.
- Timeline:
- 12 November 2025: Mandatory in-person information session
- 14 November 2025: submission platform opens for Letters of Intent
- 8 January 2026: Deadline for Letters of Intent
- July 2026: Announcement of selected projects
