[UOS] VLIR-UOS Call Short Initiatives (SI) 2025
Short Initiatives (SI) projects are short-term projects that aim to explore, build, and deepen academic/scientific collaborations among diverse teams of academics and researchers. SI projects focus on sustainable development challenges and are able to realize objectives within the limited timespan of a maximum of 2 years.
With these projects, VLIR-UOS aims to strengthen the research and educational capacities of higher education and science institutions between academic actors in Flanders and partner countries. The projects are expected to create the conditions for the uptake of new and relevant knowledge, applications, and/or services by academic, civil society, private and public actors.
The Call for Proposals for SI 2025 is open for submissions. However, we want to inform you that the continuation of this call is subject to confirmation of the VLIRUOS budget by the new federal minister for development cooperation.

Deadline:
VLIR-UOS deadline is 20 February 2025 (5 PM).
Internal deadline: Creation of a new application on VLIR-UOS 03/02/25 the latest.
Budget Excels should be send to Barbara Lobert 10/02/25 the latest for a first check.
